Although advertised to have a 100% reproduction of sRGB color space there have been numerous reports of brand new monitors hovering around the high ninties before being manually recalibrated to 100%.
The monitor offers a HDMI port, dual-link DVI ports and a DisplayPort. It also comes with double three watt speakers that offer a surprisingly high standard of audio playback. It also boasts a 178 degree viewing angle reducing distortion and color glare when views off center.

The size of the screen is a key point when choosing a monitor for video editing, nine times out of ten bigger is always better both in size and resolution. These allow you to have either additional device outputs displayed on the same screen or have multiple control panels open at once for multiple software applications all on the same monitor. When it comes to aspect ratios we recommend that you go for either 16:9, 17:9, 16:10 or 21:9 with the 16:9 being the most popular choice.
Another concern is the panel type used in the monitor. TN based panels are the most common and cheapest, as you may expect they are also the worst with dated technology. Moving on we have the IPS panels that can support just over 1 billion different colors with far better color reproduction than their TN based counterparts.
